It is a great pleasure for NIVR to host this event, which, I am sure, will stimulate and encourage discussions and cooperation between scientists working with the important atmospheric research instruments on ERS-2, Envisat, Aura and ACE.
We are especially proud of the many scientists working with the instruments Sciamachy and OMI, which have a strong Netherlands contribution and which we developed with our partners Germany, Finland, Belgium and ESA and NASA.
I hope you will have a fruitful and stimulating meeting and anticipate eagerly the results.
I encourage you to take also time to enjoy the beautiful city of Den Haag, the residence of her Majesty the Queen and the seat of the Netherlands’ government.
I look forward to welcoming you in person on November 8 in Den Haag.
Best regards,
